These policies are in effect to ensure that the majority of time is spent teaching the students. For this reason, these policies are followed with no exceptions. Piano lessons are the main objective and every minute is vital.

• · Tuition- The tuition is due at the first lesson each month. 

  •   There is a $5 late fee added to the lesson fee if not paid at the first lesson of the month

  • There will be no second lesson until the tuition and late fee are paid.

  • There is a $30 fee for NSF checks. Once this happens the tuition must be paid in cash.

• Makeup lessons 

  • ·         There are no make up lessons.  If I cancel a lesson, I will prorate the next tuition.  If a student cannot make his or her lesson, the student forfeits that lesson. I will spend that specific time planning the student’s future lessons. Remember, your tuition pays for more than your weekly lesson. There is prep, training, education, recital costs, etc. However, lessons can be rescheduled or tuition prorated if there is more than 24 hours notice.

  • ·         My studio opens the day after Labor Day and usually closes after the fourth week lesson in May.  Please see the studio calendar. There is a guarantee of four lessons per month. If the studio is closed, tuition will be prorated. The only one day holidays the studio observes are Labor Day and Memorial Day. My vacations are the fifth week of the months that have five weeks.

  • The summer program runs from June through August (eight specific weeks chosen by the studio).  No lesson time is carried forward to the next session. A Sign Up Genius email is sent in July to sign up for the fall and another Sign Up Genius email is sent in April to sign up for the summer session.
